Can I apply for a job that is not currently posted?
What happens once I send you my application?
Do you have any requirements for bilingual communication skills?
Are there co-operative placement opportunities available at CIBC Mellon?
What is the virtual interview, how long is it and what should I know about its special features?
Once you have completed the online application you will be requested to complete a short virtual interview. It consists mostly of multiple choice questions and is designed to help us speed up the review process by clearly identifying your requirements and qualifications. You will be asked to answer only those questions that relate to the positions of interest to you. We strongly encourage you to take the five to 15 minutes to submit your response.
How can I submit one application for more than one position, business area or location?
Use the general application on our Career Opportunities page. Type in all the job titles for the postings you wish to respond to in the appropriate field. You can also fill in functional job titles for positions you wish to apply for should they become available in the future.
Choose the business area you most prefer. If there are alternative business areas you are interested in you can later list these in your cover letter.
If you have any interest in Information Services you should always choose this as your first area of preference. This way you can take advantage of any specially designed Information Services virtual interviews to tell us more about your technical skills.
Select your preferred location. Be sure to go on to the virtual interview so you have an opportunity to tell us which other CIBC Mellon locations you wish to be considered for.
I am a permanent search or temporary employment firm. How can I apply to CIBC Mellon for vendor status?
